Sheldon Goldenberg Talk

Mishkan Torah’s Men’s Club is sponsoring a talk by Sheldon Goldberg, retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel, during services on Saturday, November 7. He will share the story of a young Jewish pararescue specialist who was shot down over North Vietnam and became one of the two longest-serving enlisted POWs in history. During his captivity, a profound religious epiphany brought him closer to G-d and helped shape his life after repatriation.
