Keter Shem Tov Honoring Dan Lowery

“Keter shem tov” means the crown of a good name. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai said: “There are three crowns: the crown of Torah, the crown of priesthood, and the crown of royalty, but the crown of a good name is above them all.” (Pirkei Avot 4:13). Please join us on Sunday, April 2, 2023 as we honor Dan Lowery with the Keter Shem Tov Award. It is fitting that we honor him with this special award because his good name has been closely linked with Mishkan Torah for many years.  See the flyer in the March Trumpet for a description of all that Dan has done for Mishkan Torah

Please plan to attend via Zoom and let Dan know how much we care for him.  Make a reseration so you can be sure to get the Zoom link.  You can make your reservation online by filling out the form below.  In addition, we are putting together a Memory Book and we’re hoping you’d like to share a memory (with or without a photo)—or just to say something special about Dan or how he has helped you. The Memory Book will be shared with all who attend or make a donation. We also will have time for some people to speak on the day. If you send a short (2-3 minute) video, we will try to add it to the festivities. Please send memories and/or videos to ArleneGottlieb18@gmail.com by March 15th.

To pay online, fill out the form on the donation page.  (Instead of writing "Donate to Mishkan Torah" on the form, please write "Keter Shem Tov Donation.")
