The Rabbi Search Committee will be holding a series of focus groups in order to get a wide diversity of opinions from our community about the desired attributes, skills, and priorities for our next Rabbi.  Each focus group will consist of no more than 10 participants so that everyone has an opportunity to express him/herself.  The focus group will last approximately an hour and a half and will revolve around a facilitated discussion of four pre-set questions.  All you need to do is come prepared to share your thoughts.

The focus groups have been scheduled at varying times and locations including the synagogue, Riderwood, and a few homes inside and outside of Greenbelt.  Please sign up as soon as possible to be assured of your preferred date.  If you are unable to attend a group or you do not wish to participate in a group please reach out to Jackie Kling or Joanie Cohen-Mitchell at Searchchairs@mishkantorah.org.  They will work with you to obtain your feedback.

The list of focus groups can be found on this page.  The list of questions to prepare you for the focus group can be found here.

This is an important time for Mishkan Torah.  Not only are we searching for a new rabbi, but in the process we are helping to define who we will be in the upcoming years.  The search committee wishes to hear from everyone.
