This is Mishkan Torah's third opportunity this fiscal year to join with Greenbelt Community Church to participate in a program to alleviate hunger.  For this event we join many other faith-based communities in the Greater Greenbelt area to help the hungry.  25% of the funds goes to Help By Phone, a charity that helps people in Greenbelt, and 75% goes to Church World Services, the umbrella organization.  It is a highly regarded charity that has been feeding the world's hungry and supporting the poor since after World War II when it helped the refugees of Europe.  (go to the crophungerwalk website for more information).  You may designate your contribution to Mazon if you like but you must make your check out to CWS.

Please save the date for this important event and join with the greater Greenbelt community in alleviating hunger here in Greenbelt and the world.
